A cute and cuddly excuse!

And here was me planning to post today about writing matters. Instead, meet the nameless wonder something vampire-like might be needed, he's a finger biter rather than a scratcher. The main fire glow looking photograph was purely by accident as he was in one hand while I took the photo with the other. Considering he was an outdoor/barn living kitty I thought he'd freak at the flash in his face, but no.

He is cute, from what I've seen of him, am exhausted already. Neighbour had advertised him at the vets but hadn't replied to my phone message so thought he'd been homed already. Couple weeks later I get a call, two hours after that she appeared with him. I have not a clue where he is the last few hours, am hoping it's a good sign that it's quiet and he's not demolishing the house. Guess a kitten collar and a locator tag might be in his future, cat wrangling being a bit different for me these days :-)

Oh, dear. Well, I hope you get yourselves straightened out.

Elena is training me to keep the toilet lids down. I think she's part raccoon, because she likes to dunk things in water. And then leave them in strategic places on the floor for me to step on [wry g].

Well two weeks later and all is well with kitty. But those first few days turned out to be fun. Reason I kept losing kitty was because he kept going in the wall (may have told you this somewhere already, my brain is fried!) because the kitchen contractors hadn't put a blank plate where they'd removed a double electrical socket. Due to me having hanging cabinets so my wheelchair footrest can go in it meant he could just disappear under them & through the hole in the wood panelling. It's now temporary stuffed with an oven cloth.

He's great though. Other cat seems to have adopted him as he looks like one of her (now grown) kittens. Will try & post some more pics somewhere.

Suppose I should be heading to bed. Really in the mood for writing though, think my little LJ rant inspired me.
