Thanks. I just got them the end of August, after losing my two old cats in January and June, respectively (they were 17 1/2 and almost 18, so they had good long lives, but they left a big hole in my life).

Sorry about the Facebook thing. But I will get back to your email -- it's just been an interesting weekend, in the Chinese sense of the term [g].

Taking this as a strange, but sad, sign that it was right me getting in touch again.

I am sorry to hear that you lost your cats, too. Are you planning to get more?

Sorry, haven't replied to your email yet - hopefully tomorrow. Will forward you a copy of my Christmas letter with it as that'll answer the cat questions (and I know you'll love the photos).

Going to try and see if I can copy my voice training from my old laptop (if it deigns to go on) to my newer one. I'd spent hours getting the voice recog as good as poss on the other, so the thought of starting off from scratch has been too daunting to face before now. Needs must though now that I'm back to using the 'puter a lot :-)

Sounds like a plan. I just got back online after three days of no Internet due to the storm, so I'll keep an eye out for it.
